Standard OdorHogs are also available in BLACK PLASTIC ABS. We recommend the ABS models for Northern US and Canada where sub-zero temps are likely. BLACK PLASTIC ABS with a mushroom, metal or T-fitting cap (Metal rain caps may vary slightly from what is shown). - Every plumbing vent on the roof must have a filter in order to eliminate the septic odor. Gas will seek the path of least resistance and exit through un-filtered vents.
- Our roof vent filters will not cure indoor plumbing odors. If you are experiencing an indoor odor, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions page for possible solutions.

In 2002 I finished building my retirement home.
Everything was great except for the awful smell of sewer. At first,
we thought it must have been one of the neighbors having problems
with their septic system. Then a prevailing southerly wind turned
the culprit in. I was the neighbor with the septic smell issue. The
system vent stack was directly above the pool area and when the wind
blew, with it came the smell.
After searching the internet for resolution, I
found “OdorHog.” Skeptical of any purchase through the internet, I

Well, I have to say I have never in my 56 years
